Brian Andersen's request for a laptop

Mr. McCauley, this is Brian Andersen, I think I may have a almost purple cow approach.

The most boring and unpurple cow request in history

If I were to receive one of these it would be a big help to my education because I would be able to keep a workspace with me that would allow me to work projects whenever I have time. The laptop would create a system that would allow me to not have to worry about logging on to school computers to do minor projects. The laptop would also allow me to keep up to date on projects and dates that are important. I would be able to keep my work online so if i needed to i could access them from other areas easily, and the documents, powerpoints, spreadsheets, calendars, websites would be compatible.
I have used many of the things in the software on the laptop. I have experience with both Open office and Google docs. I also have some experience with Linux and Firefox. The laptop would also allow me to keep connected with school assignments when i am on trips because i could load things online and work on the assignments from the computer. the laptop would help to eliminate excess paper and other materials to be wasted. the laptop would also allow me to collaborate with other students that are working on similar things. The Laptop would help relieve strain on the computers that we own so that my brothers and I will not have to compete to finish projects.
Over all this laptop would be a wonderful thing to try out and I would love to assist the implementation of individual personal laptops into the education system, especially in the school of business. It is a good thing to learn how to use technology in the market that I am involved in today. The more I can learn and use technology; the more prepared I will be to compete in future occupations. One of these computers could help me do that through keeping me connected to my projects, and observing how it improves my education.
